She completed her MBBS from Thrissur Medical College, Kerala in 1997 and her Post Graduation in Ophthalmology from RIO, Thiruvananthapuram Medical college, Kerala in 2004.

She has been working with Vasan Eye Hospital for last 14 years and at present working in Leela Eye Clinic as Senior Consultant. She is trained to manage patients with Cataract, Glaucoma, retinal problems and refractive errors.

She is skilled in doing LASIK and SMILE laser surgeries and problems involving the cornea and medical retina. She has gentle approach towards patients which makes her popular amongst them. She has given various talks in Schools and Corporate offices like Accenture, Standard Chartered Bank etc regarding eye health.

She also has trained many optometrists by conducting classes and practical sessions for them. She was also involved in preparing curriculum and video assisted classes for ophthalmic assistant course by IFSC under health department of Government of India.
